Here is your Mi’kmaq History month fact of the day. Nova Scotia and the Atlantic provinces are traditional Mi’kmaq territory, also known as Mi’kma’ki. The Mi’kmaq people have occupied this area since time extending beyond the reach of memory, record, or tradition.

Girls Varsity Soccer (A Team) – IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Our game tonight against Lockview has been moved to Monday at 4pm here on the Bedford/CPA field. We don’t play today!

Join CPA’s SAC! – CPA is looking for 2 grade 10 students to take on the role of grade 10 representatives on the School Advisory Council.  You need to commit to one meeting a month.  This is an awesome opportunity to learn about governance and it looks great on a resume! If you are interested please leave your name with Mrs. Blight in the main office.

From the Library – There are still lots of students without computer passwords. Please see any of your teachers for this info or drop by the library.

Potential grads are reminded that Kings University rounds out the week by presenting at lunch on Friday in room 235. For all your university visitation needs check out the cork board outside room 235

Open gym has started up in the HRM gym once again. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. All students are welcome to come and use this free gym time!

Fashion Show – First meeting is moved to NEXT Wednesday at lunch. Everyone welcome.

Calling all writers – Would you like to be a part of the re-launch/re-imagining of the CPA newspaper, ‘The Cheetah Perspective’? Join us in room 240 on Friday at lunch.

Astronomy Club – There will be a meeting of the Astronomy Club in room 327 at 12:10 on Friday.
