Here is your Mi’kmaq History month fact of the day. There are 24,175 people of Aboriginal Identity in Nova Scotia. This makes up 2.7% of the total Nova Scotia population. The majority of the First Nation people in Nova Scotia are from the Mi’kmaw nation.

Congratulations to Sarah Polak, Callie McCutcheon, Malcolm Seward and Jennifer Sexton. They won the business case competition at Acadia University on Friday! Underwater Robotics Team – There will be a quick CPA Underwater Robotics (ROV) Team meeting today at lunchtime in Mr. Scott’s room 135. Important information to tell you about so please attend.

March Europe Trip – There will be a brief meeting for everyone traveling to Europe this March Break today at the beginning of lunch in room 231.

If you are interested in traveling to Eastern Europe during March Break 2015 and did not attend any meetings, please see Ms. Smith with any questions. The registration deadline has been extended.

Girls Varsity Soccer – Reminder that we have 4 games this week all at 4pm. Today we play here on our field. We play Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday too! Lauren Donovan and Alex Gosse, your fees are still outstanding for the team.

Model UN – The Model UN club will meet today after school in room 228 from 3:30 to 5:00. All are welcome.

Football players – there will be a meeting tomorrow in room 331 at the beginning of lunch. We will not be long so please be on time.

Youth Health Action – will meet in the Youth Health Centre room 209 tomorrow at lunch time.

Random Acts Club will meet on Tuesdays at lunch in room 132, starting tomorrow.

Fashion Show – First meeting is Wednesday at lunch. Everyone welcome.

Grade 10/11 Girls Phys Ed. – Reminder of our Trail Run this Thursday (last block) with Mr. Woods and Mr. Jennings. Please plan to change quickly so we can get out for a great long run! Dress for the woods and mud.
