The Boys B Basketball Team defeated Sir John A last night by a final score of 86 to 48. Once again all players contributed to a balanced scoring, with Grant Kuehm leading the way with 21 points, followed by Ryan Wilbur 14 points. The team play Auburn on Friday then head to Truro for the CEC Tournament. Best of luck boys.

NSSSA – All students interested in attending this year’s provincial NSSSA conference, please come to room 302 for a brief meeting on Friday at lunch. Registration forms are available at the following link (https://nsssa.squarespace.com/events/2015/5/14/taking-charge-2015) or on the bulletin board across from room 342. Forms and cheques made payable to Charles P. Allen High School are due to Ms. McCormick by March 20th.

CSLC 2015 – Any grade 10 or 11 student who is interested in applying to be spirit leader (group leader) at the Canadian Student Leadership Conference next September, please come and see Ms. McCormick in the Nova Scotia Virtual School office. Application forms are due by January 9th.

Potential grads please note that STFX will be in the guidance office today at lunch.  Students at that time will have an opportunity to talk one on one with an admissions advisor.

Any students interested in joining the army reserves can meet with a representative in the student exchange area tomorrow at lunch.  If you are more interested in the Navy please be aware that a representative will be at CPA next week – Dec 9th at noon.

Prom Committee – will meet today in room 341. Please attend if you would like to help plan this year’s prom.

Christmas Dinner – On Friday, the cafeteria will be having a turkey dinner – mashed potatoes, turkey, vegetables, stuffing, gravy, milk and cheesecake for $7.75. You can pre-order and pre-pay!
