Due to school closure last week, Semester 1 report cards will now be handed out to students on Wednesday during A Block.

There will be a Random Acts meeting today at lunch in Room 132. All welcome.

Attention all writers and anyone who has been wanting to give it a try. We are forming a creative writing group at the school and all are invited. First meeting is tomorrow at lunch. This will be a chance to meet other writers and get inspired. Room 235. If you have questions contact grade 12 student Ali Barr or Ms. Walker.

Hey would you like a fun place to socialize during lunch?  Come to room 234 tomorrow at lunch. We have games or you can bring your own.  Come by yourself or bring your friends.

CURLING TEAM meeting on Wednesday in room 139 in Mr. Ryan’s room. All interested please come at 1210 at lunch

SNOWBOARD TEAM meeting on Thursday room 139 in Mr. Ryan’s room. Hoodies and funds will be discussed.

Math Contests! There are a number of opportunities coming up to participate in math contests. There are 10 spots for the AMC 10 and AMC 12 (written February 25). The registration is a first come first serve basis, and there are already a number of students registered! The CEMC is putting on their Cayley (Grade 10) and Fermat (Grade 11) contests, which will be written on February 24th. The registration deadline for these contests is February 10th! The Galois, Hypatia, and Euclid contests (written in April) have a registration deadline of March 20th. All students interested should bring their name and fees to Mr. Richardson in room 333.

Potential Grads – Students interested in attending St. Thomas University in the fall please note that they will be here today at 1:30 in guidance to do on the spot admissions. Sign up in guidance if interested.

Grade 11 and 12 students interested in NSCAD please note that they have their portfolio day on February 21st.  It is an information session and portfolio preview event for applicants and parents.  You can tour the school, discuss your portfolio with faculty and explore their programs. Sign up on line.
