Could Morgan Dunlop, Robyn Kane, Harrison Lockhart, Lann Johnson, Jessica Simm, Bridget Biermann, Jessica Pitman, and Sabrina Miron please come to the office for a message.

The boys JV basketball team was busy this week with their regional playoffs. First, the team’s defense held the JL Judges to only 27 points (7 in the second half) as they racked up 85 points of their own. Last night, the boys set out against PA. Through superior ball movement and defense, the boys were the victors 94 to 50. In both games, all players contributed to the scoring with stand out scoring by Chris Moller, Brett Liam, Grant Keuhm, Mitchell Hearn, and Nickon Babaei. This sets the stage for the Metro Region Boys JV Championship tonight against Citadel. The fans have played a large roll in the games so far, come out and support the Cheetahs in their home gym tonight at 6pm!

Cheetahs – Keep returning your textbooks! We need them for 2nd semester courses. Return all texts to the Library.

Fashion Show – There will be a fashion show meeting for all the grade 12’s next Wednesday at the beginning of lunch in room 231. All interested must attend.

New York Trip! The following students do not have their information form in yet. You cannot choose your roommates until your form is passed in. See Ms. Whalen ASAP: Kennedy Rankin, Liam Walsh, Emily Comeau, Alex Mansley, Laura Clarke, Daniel Ramsey, Will Scherer

Math Contests! There are a number of opportunities coming up to participate in math contests. There are 10 spots for the AMC 10 and AMC 12 (written February 25). The registration is a first come first serve basis, and there are already a number of students registered! The CEMC is putting on their Cayley (Grade 10) and Fermat (Grade 11) contests, which will be written on February 24th. The registration deadline for these contests is February 10th! The Galois, Hypatia, and Euclid contests (written in April) have a registration deadline of March 20th. All students interested should bring their name and fees to Mr. Richardson in room 333.

Dearest potential grads – would you like to attend Memorial University in Newfoundland, well they would like you to go to them, so much so that a representative will be here on Wednesday in room 238 at lunch.  Oulton College which has a whole-lotta-cool programs will also be at CPA at that time and will be hanging in the main foyer.  Pop on down and see what’s new at the O


Grade 11 and 12 students interested in NSCAD please note that they have their portfolio day on February 21st.  It is an information session and portfolio preview event for applicants and parents.  You can tour the school, discuss your portfolio with faculty and explore their programs.
