Students are NOT to be on the snow hills on school property at any time. Please be extremely careful on the sidewalks and in the bus loop. Safety first!!

Cheetahs – make your teachers happy and return your 1st semester textbooks.  We can’t give out what hasn’t been returned.

In celebration of African heritage month there will be an African Nova Scotian heritage Quiz, the quiz will be available for students to participate in at lunch this Friday. You will be able to pick up your African Heritage Quiz by Mr. Borden’s Office room 107 where you will fill out the quiz. Once you have your quiz filled out you will hand it in to Mr. Borden, for a chance to win some amazing CPA gear. Students are allowed to use their phones to Google answers.

Mr. Robertson and Mr. MacDonald are looking for basketball minor officials for 5 basketball games   Fri – 5pm…. Fri 7pm ….Sat. 10am….Sat 12:00 noon….Sat. 3:00pm. It’s a chance to make some extra money – please see Mr. Robertson or Mr. MacDonald if you are interested.

Math Competitors…a reminder that students writing the AMC 10/12, the competition is taking place tomorrow during first block in the library quiet room.  Please be there for the start of the period and bring any unpaid fees ($10) in the exact amount.

Model UN: The Model UN Team is reminded to pass in their permission slips with fees for JPHMUN to Mr. Hall by Friday.

The application deadline for the Explore program is Friday. Explore is a $2200 bursary which covers most expenses for a five week summer French course to improve students’ French proficiency at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Dalhousie University’s Computer Science Day: Dalhousie University will be hosting their annual Computer Science Day this coming Saturday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. This free event is open to all perspective students and their parents; it consists of workshops for students and information sessions for parents. Lunch is provided.
