Interested in being a part of the 2016-2017 Charles P. Allen High School Students’ Council? We are now collecting applications/nominations for all elected and appointed positions. Candidates intending to run for co-president must have their nomination forms submitted to Ms. McCormick (in room 328) by 9AM Tuesday, March 29. All other positions (appointed and elected) are due in the library on Wednesday, April 6th.
Before applying, make sure to read the description of the position carefully. All applications have essay components and all require 2 academic references and 1 community reference. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Co-president campaign week is April 11-15 and elected grade rep campaign week is April 18-22. All non-elected positions will be selected through an interview process, which will take place April 27th. Students applying for multiple positions need only to submit one application with a cover letter indicating the positions they are applying for.
Please note: The third essay-like question should read “What is one change and/or new idea that you would personally bring to CPA through being a member of the Charles P. Allen High School Students’ Council? Outline how this idea and/or change can come to life.”
