Girls Varsity Volleyball players see Ms. Beth Downie today in room 133 to get forms so you are able to play on Wednesday.

Girls JV Volleyball tryouts are today from 6-8. All welcome, if enough girls don’t come out we won’t have a team.

NSGEU – Scholarships – APPLY NOW The Education Committee would like to advise that they are now accepting applications for the NSGEU Member Bursaries, NSGEU Member’s Dependent Bursaries, and NSGEU Member’s Dependent Scholarships for the Fall (deadline is October 15th)

Concerned about connecting with people, tired of all the electronics, please know that the Board Game Club is back baby!– Every Friday at lunch in room 305, starting this week. The Board Game club was voted most innovated club last year at CPA.  We are also going to have a lot more extra session after school this year, come in and sign up and you will get email notification whenever there is an event taking place.

Your new Aboriginal Support worker, Ms. Dupuy, will be in the building every Tuesday in room 107. Please feel free to drop in and acquaint yourself with the support offered to Indigenous students.

Model United Nations: There will be a lunch time meeting for those interested in the Model United Nations club/team on Tuesday in room 230. If you are interested in learning about MUN please drop by as dates will be discussed about meeting times and events that will be ongoing throughout the year.

Volunteer Club: Cheetahs for Charity will be having a lunch time meeting on September 20th in room 228. Drop by and help to shape the events that will be developed to help people in our community.

The CP Allen Baseball team played in the Metro East playoffs this weekend and routed the Dartmouth High Spartans 18-6 before coming up against a strong Halifax West Warriors squad and losing 13-3 on Friday. Saturday saw the Cheetahs no hit the Sackville High Kingfishers 7-0 in the morning and then met once again the Warriors losing 8-3. With a .500 season record the Cheetahs showed promise for next year. Could the players still owing athletic fees and jerseys please see Mr. Schofield in room 325.

Attention Vimy travellers – There will be a brief meeting for all the students traveling to Vimy on Thursday at the beginning of lunch in room 231. All must attend.
