If you paid your student fees and have not yet received your student ID, please come to the main office to pick it up!!

iPods for Ivany is continuing to collect used iPods in front of room 108.  Please check your home for used, cracked or discarded iPods for this important fundraiser.

Come and learn what your Blood Type is— today during lunch in room 108. All it takes is a quick finger poke. Open to all students and staff.

Jack.org – All students who are attending the Summit on Nov 19th at the Bella Rosa Centre at Halifax West are asked to wear a Jack.org t-shirt to the Summit. If you need a t-shirt, please go to the YHC with your t-shirt size, so it can be ordered for you. Also, please bring your emergency contact info to the YHC. This is needed BEFORE Nov 10.

The GSA meeting today will be held in Room 327with Mr. Gurholt hosting, not in the YHC–for this week only.

Interact Club will have a meeting today at lunch in room 132.

Boys JV Basketball Team – will have a brief meeting on Thursday at lunch in room 234. During this time uniforms will be distributed and the league schedule will be handed out.

If you are interested in working the scoring table for CPA home basketball games please see Mr. Gray in room 234 by the end of the week. Students are paid $15 per game to help with time-keeping and scoring at the table.

The Boys JV Basketball Team will play their home opener on Monday versus rival Citadel. Come out and make some noise and help support the team.

The Cheetah Perspective: There will be a meeting on Thursday at lunch in room 340.

Grade 12’s – The University of Waterloo will be here on Monday to speak to students about their programs, admissions and all things Waterloo. This presentation will take place at lunch in the library quiet room. All students are welcome to attend.

GRADE 12’s Scholarship Info –  The Peter Kohler Scholarship is awarded to a student who hopes to enter their first year of full-time studies in an Engineering Program at a University in Atlantic Canada in September 2017. This award is open to both graduating high school students, and students from a community college. Applicants will be adjudicated upon the basis of their financial need and their character, with preference given to students who display entrepreneurial spirit. The award is valued at $50,000, distributed over a period of four years – an outstanding opportunity for young Nova Scotian innovators who are facing financial hardship to excel and flourish. Grade Photos – Grad photos will take place here beginning Mon., November 21st. Potential grads can now book online for photos sittings! To ensure everyone gets a time slot, 1 day at a time is open. Once days are mainly filled, the next day will be opened. The link to the website is http://calnenphotography.setmore.com/ Note – students who do not wish to order a photo package are not required to pay the $15 sitting fee. It’s important that every grad have his/her picture taken for the yearbook. Don’t miss out!!
