The Design 11 class are creating a fused glass project that requires some data collection from our students. They are very general questions about their lives and pop culture and the survey will take approximately 2 minutes to complete. Grade 12’s – Scholarships- Just a reminder, in addition to checking announcements you can also find information about upcoming scholarships on Twitter and the scholarship bulletin board (outside the guidance office), or you can speak with your guidance counsellor.

Queen’s University Major Admission Awards – Due: December 1st, 2016 – Criteria: Students who demonstrate superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership qualities can apply for a major admission award at Queen’s university. RBC Black History Month Student Essay Competition-Duce December 9th. Who can apply: Grade 12 students applying to college or university. Essay topic: Tell us what young people can learn from the achievements and contributions of black Canadians over the past 150 years to help shape the future for generations to come. 30 scholarships, including three grand prizes: First prize-%5,000 scholarship, Second prize-$2,500 scholarship, Third prize-$1,500 scholarship.
