The BMO will be closed to students Wednesday, Thursday & Friday this week due to a tournament.

Multiple Opportunities will occur on the last day of class prior to exams – Monday, January 23rd. Students should speak to their teachers about the opportunity to participate.  It is important to note that if you write the multiple opportunities assessment, it is the most recent assessment and the mark will stand. The schedule will be as follows:

9:30 – 10:30     Math 10:50 – 11:50   Languages 12:50 -1:50      Science 2:05 – 3:05       Social Studies If there is an assessment for a course that does not fit into these 4 subject areas, please speak to your teacher for direction.

Would the following students please see Mrs. Swimm sometime today (not at lunch) regarding details for the Schulich Leader Scholarship.  She will be giving you information about the writing requirement to be considered for the scholarship.  The writing requirement will be due on Tuesday January 17th by 3:30 PM: Emily Traver, Demir Mensah, Seif Yasser, Lauren Ramey, Olivia Blair, Gaby Russell, Julia Paffile, Rana Naji, Ceiledh Monk, Sarah MacDonald, Megan Fitzgerald, Lindsey Puddicombe, Saul Hughes, Savanna Cabrita, Johnny Ye, Ali Alizy, Daphne Finlay, Jared Fougere, Alexandra Widden, Emma Brouwer, Tamanna Anand, Kieran Bhaskara, Brooke Titus, Alexander Rockwell, Ryan Isnor, Pierre Vimali, Hannah Sullivan Beginning Wednesday, January 11 students will have the opportunity to change their second semester Math and/or English level. Students who wish to do so must pick up and complete a level change form in guidance and submit this form to Ms. Lowe by Monday January 16th. Know that changes are not guaranteed and will be based on available class size and scheduling. Note that only Math and English levels will be changed at this time; no other course changes will be made until the beginning of second semester.

Students are invited to visit the Bulletin Board on the 2nd floor by Guidance. The Youth Health Centre has provided information on: ‘Study Tips for Exam Week’ and ‘Managing Stress during Exams’. All are welcome to take a copy. For further assistance, please feel free to drop in to the Youth Health Centre (YHC).

Athletes who have not returned their jersey to Ms. Joudrey in 207 are asked to please do so this week.

The Health Action Team (HAT) can resume their lunch meetings in the Youth Health Centre. All welcome. Just let the YHC co-ordinator know what day(s) you want the space for your meeting.

Peer Tutoring is still available to all students. If you are in need of a tutor, please email CPAPeerTutoring@gmail.com or drop by the Library to see Ms. Morgan.
