Students who are interested in going to Saint Mary’s University’s High School Trading Competition on Friday, January 12 please meet with Ms. Joudrey in 207 on Tuesday. No experience necessary. There is a chance to win up to $1000. The competition has two phases—prepare a written response to a case before competition day (this will require two-three after school meetings the week of the event). Students must present their case response to a small audience to be judged and the afternoon students will take part in a live stock market trading challenge. No cost to students. The Canadian Forces Recruiting Center detachment Halifax will have presentations on the Royal Military College (RMC) and Regular Officer Training Program (ROTP) entry plan. The first presentation (RMC/ROTP) will be held at MFRC Halifax in Windsor Park on Wednesday from 7 to 8 pm. The second one (same presentation) will be at MFRC Shearwater on Dec 12th from 7 to 8pm.
