Exam Exemption Eligibility as of April 6th

eligibleThe Exam Exemption eligibility list based on attendance as of April 6, 2016 has now been posted on the bulletin board by the main office as well as by student number here.  Students who think they should qualify for an exemption to date but are not on the list need to verify their attendance by checking PowerSchool. Getting to Great Survey School Improvement Survey

Survey-2316704Getting to Great, the Halifax Regional School Board’s online school improvement survey, is now available.

The Getting to Great survey provides an opportunity for students in grades 4-12, parents/guardians, teachers and support staff to share information that will help us improve schools.

The online survey is available from April 4 – 29, 2016. Please click this link: http://survey.hrsb.ns.ca to start the survey. Participation is voluntary and all survey information is anonymous and is not used to evaluate individuals.

Report Cards and Parent/Teacher Meetings

report_cardReport cards will be distributed to students on Tuesday, April 12 during A Block. Parent/Teacher meetings will take place on April 13 from 6pm-8pm and April 14 from 1:30pm-3:30pm.

Computer Virus at CPA

computer-viruses-animation-112CPA is currently dealing with a computer virus and asks for your help.  If your daughter or son are bringing a “Thumb drive” or laptop into school, we ask that they be scanned ahead of time for viruses.

If you do not have current anti-virus software, the link below will provide you with free software to scan your devices prior to using them in school.

Grade 11 & 12 IB Parent/Guardian Meeting

ibworldschoolThere will be a meeting for grade 11 and 12 IB Parents and Guardians on Monday April 11 at 6:30 in the Cafetorium.

We will be discussing details about obtaining the IB Diploma, information about exams as well as core requirements.
