Important Yearbook Message to Potential Graduates

Dear Potential Graduate.
The CPA yearbook committee is hard at work, trying to make your graduating yearbook a success! We appreciate all the support and actions you have displayed throughout the year. This year we want to make it the best yearbook yet. Therefore, we need your help with the tasks listed below:

• Make sure you have your grad picture in a cap and gown taken for the yearbook. These can be taken with the photographer that comes to the school or with your own photographer. If pictures are taken at school or by the Calnen photographer at the studio, they will be automatically sent to the school. There is no fee for you to have your picture taken for the yearbook, only if you require the proof. February 7th, 8th and 9th will be the dates the photographers will be at the school. Please go to the school website and follow the link to register for a sitting. The FINAL DAY TO SUBMIT PICTURES IS MARCH 12th 2018, please send pictures not taken at the school to or (talk to Brinten Comeau)
• Grad quotes will be done this year, please have a quote of 35 words. The QUOTES WILL BE DUE MARCH 12th 2018. Anything past this date will not be accepted. Quotes are to be emailed to please include name when sending quote
• There will be a baby picture page in this year’s yearbook if you wish to submit a baby photo for the guess who page please email to with your name included. BABY PHOTOS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 16TH 2018. All pictures will not be able to make the page, we will use our judgment in deciding what ones to use.
• If you miss the deadline for any of these items it will NOT make it into the yearbook as there is a deadline.
• Yearbooks can be purchased in the office at any time for $40
• There will be a blitz week in February, from February 12th-16th these yearbooks will be sold at lunch, in the student exchange for $40

How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying!

Mr Flinn and Mr Weber will be holding second cast auditions in Room 111 next Tuesday, February 6th and Wednesday, February 7th after school until 5:30 PM. The sign-up sheets are almost full, but please come to see either Mr Flinn or Mr Weber if you have any interest in being a part of the musical either on stage or behind the scenes. There is a lot to do in regards to set building, costume design, dance choreography and more! It’s time to share your talents!

Students, when you arrive, there will be lists posted in the main foyer. Look for your name on this list to find your homeroom number. This room is where you will receive your semester 2 schedule.

Curriculum Night – February 7

Our Curriculum Evening gives parents/guardians an opportunity to meet their sons’/daughters’ second semester teachers and learn about course outcomes and expectations as well as assessment and evaluation practices. Curriculum night is not intended for individual conversations about a student’s progress, but rather to lay the foundation for your understanding and partnership in assisting your son/daughter to be successful in his/her studies.

You will follow your child(s) Day Monday schedule (ABCD). Each session will be 12 minutes with five minutes to move between classes. Please log into your PowerSchool to access your child’s schedule. If you need a PowerSchool account set up, please contact Ms. Lowe at

Schedule for the evening, Wednesday, February 7:

6:15 Arrival (Student Council will be on hand to offer directions)
6:30 A period class begins. Each class will be 12 minutes in duration with a 5 minute class change in between.
