Potential grads should check out the 2014-2015 scholarship book for post-secondary awards and financial assistance. There’s lots of money out there to help with your post-secondary education expenses.
The purpose of this information session is to explain the post-secondary and scholarship process and to connect parents with local universities/colleges in a forum that will allow for group presentations as well as time for individual questions. The evening will start with a 30 minute presentation from CPA guidance counsellors concerning the general post-secondary applications processes, admissions, registration and scholarships. The presentation will be followed by 3 breakout sessions with local universities and the community college. Post-secondary presenters will focus on academic programs, admission procedures, scholarship info and a host of facts that will hopefully make the decision easier as to what school/ program your student should attend. Each session will consist of a ~20 minute presentation followed by a ~10 minute questions and answer period. If you have further needs, please feel free to talk to the individual reps at the end of the evening.
