Please return your books

There are still many students owing books from 1st semester. Students who have not yet received 1st semester report cards must first return all 1st semester textbooks.  Textbooks that are lost must be paid for; please see Mr. Nauss in the room 305 (the book room) or Ms. Morgan in the library to remit payment or return books.

An arts centre for our area: Now is the opportunity!

The new high school scheduled to replace Charles P. Allen High in 2012 - 2013 presents the opportunity to create a performing arts centre attached to the school that would benefit both the school and the communities in the Cobequid Region (Northwest HRM).

Student Council Fund-Raiser Events

Student Council wishes to thank the CPA community for their ongoing support for construction of our sister school in Terre Sel, La Gonave - 11,000.00 was raised and community partner Cresco Homes is joining with CPA to finish construction and provide water and electricity to the school and its communities as the students and teachers re-stabilize following the earthquake in January.

Important information regarding Quebec Trip!
The Quebec ski trip taking place in February is a school sanctioned, chaperoned trip. The March Break Cuba and Europe trips are also school sanctioned and chaperoned.

However, there is a Quebec trip during March Break which is not school sanctioned. If at anytime you are unsure whether the trip your student is interested in is school sanctioned, please call us at 832-8964.

Peer Tutoring 2009/2010

We are looking for students interested in being Peer Tutors, as well as any student interested in receiving help from a Peer Tutor.
