Please note that if you were absent on October 19 and the absence was not yet excused, you may not be on this list. This does not mean you do not have your exemption. Please see Ms. Lowe in guidance if you have any concerns.

Zombie Night

zombienight___cc___685x385Wednesday October 19 from 7-10pm is our annual and ever popular Zombie Night! For one night only CPA invites your worst nightmare zombies all over your high school… so grab 10 of your best zombie hunters, bring your “nerf taggers” and come out and save CPA. There will be 10 players to a team and the cost is $5 per round! Don’t forget to bring your nerf taggers. Food will be sold at the event and sign ups will be announced at lunch within the next week!

All players will be required to submit a signed copy of this waiver.

12angryjurorsCPA Players present Twelve Angry Jurors. This theatrical performance will be held second semester. Aspiring thespians or people interested in performing need to sign up for auditions being held on November 1 and 2 after school. Sign up times are available only through Google Classroom. Culture Cafe

culture-cafePlease join the students of Charles P. Allen High School for a Culture Cafe during the week of Remembrance as they welcome Mr. Kevin Robins of the Army Museum located at the Halifax Citadel. Mr. Robins is an archaeologist and historian who will be discussing the 85th Battalion, Nova Scotia Highlanders. He will explain the raising of the regiment and their ultimate sacrifice at Hill 145–Vimy Ridge in 1917. This is a pay what you can event that will take place on  November, 3rd. Doors open at 6:30pm and the evening will come to a close at 8:15pm. Coffee will be provided by Cortado Tasting Room (56 Gary Martin Dr., Bedford). The event is a fund raiser for the students traveling to Vimy who will take part in the 100th anniversary of the battle in April 2017.
