Traffic flow at Charles P Allen High School and the HRM Rec Centre has been an ongoing concern resulting in multiple accidents. CPA and HRM have been working with a traffic engineer in an attempt to resolve this problem.
The recommendation is a change in traffic flow that will begin on Monday, May 30th.
Student pick up and drop off areas are being moved to the lower parking lot. The upper parking lot will now be closed to through traffic.
Please note that the bus loop area is closed to through traffic during the day by law, and a temporary barrier will be in place as a reminder.
Students with mobility issues can be accommodated by contacting your vice principal.
