It’s Seminar season in the Social Studies Department. Before you print off class sets of quizzes ask Ms. Morgan for tips on how to save print credits.
The Boys B Basketball Team remain undefeated after a slick win last night over Millwood. The Cheetahs glided to victory after being down three points at the half. The final score was 73 to 42. Leading the way in scoring were Mitchell Hearn with 13 points, Brett Liem with 11 points, and the big man Paul Hashem with 10 points.
Exam Boot Camp – Please note that the exam bootcamp is being held in the 3rd floor conference room today and Friday.
Kiva – meeting today at lunch in Room 132.
CPA Football – There will be a meeting in room 331 today at lunch for all students interested in playing for the Cheetahs football team next year. Returning players and any students interested in trying out are welcome to attend. Coach McPherson will be here at 12 so don’t be late.
Debate Club – will meet today after school in room 128. All are welcome.
Girls JV Basketball – please get your paper work into Mrs. Nicholson as soon as possible. A reminder that the J V Girls basketball team will practice tonight at 7:00pm here in the CPA gym.
From the Music Room: There are NO rehearsals this week, band or choir. Me to We – will meet at lunch in room 228 on Friday.

Attention Potential Grads – The Schulich Leader Scholarship is awarded to a student who enters a university program in science, technology, engineering or math, and who possesses 2 of the 3 following criteria: academic excellence, outstanding leadership and/or financial need. If you would like to be considered for the Schulich Leader Scholarship you must sign up on the list posted outside of student services by Monday, January 12.
CSLC 2015 – The final deadline for submission of CSLC 2015 Spirit Leader Application Forms is Friday at 12:30 PM. These must be submitted to, and signed by, Ms. McCormick in the NSVS room (across from room 342).
Math League – There is a math league competition this Saturday at SMU from 9 – 12. Any teams of 4 interested in competing should see Mrs. MacInnis in room 342 or Mrs. Nicholson in room 340 asap.
Yearbook Meeting: On Monday in Room 239 at 3:30 sharp.
Europe Trip 2016 Parent Meeting – There will be an important parent meeting next Wednesday beginning at 7 pm in room 132 to discuss details of the Europe 2016 Trip to Italy. All student travellers are encouraged to relay this information to their parents!
