Italy 2016 – Meeting today in room 223 at lunch (12noon).

Boys JV Basketball Team – There will be practice today from 6pm until 7:30pm in the gym. The team meeting scheduled at 4:30pm has been cancelled. All forms and schedules will be handed out at practice. Practice is also scheduled for Tuesday from 6pm until 7:30pm and Wednesday from 3:30pm until 5pm.

Model UN: The Model UN club will meet today after school in room 227. Can space be used in a safe manner? Will countries work together diplomatically on the use of space? Be a part of the solution and develop a resolution on the peaceful use of space. The meeting will run from 3:30 to 5:00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Fashion Show – Everybody interested in helping to organise this year’s Fashion show is invited to attend a meeting tomorrow at the beginning of lunch in room 231. It takes many diverse talents to stage a Fashion Show. Please come in if interested.

Yearbook Meeting:  Meeting for Tuesday, Nov 3rd has been postponed until Tuesday, Nov 10th.

From Student Services – Any student interested in the Ivey School of Business (part of Western University) please come to guidance. They will be at CPA on Tuesday – but only in the classroom.  Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) will here on Wednesday at lunch in the Library.

Vimy 2017 – There will be an initial expression of interest meeting for the Vimy 2017 trip on Thursday at the beginning of lunch in room 231. Everyone interested please attend to get the info. Points of interest, costs, fundraising, parents’ meetings will be discussed.

SHAD – Deadline to apply November 30th– ARE you an inquisitive, critical thinker with an unquenchable need to explore ideas and possibilities? Shad Valley is just the experience for you. SHAD is hosted at excellent university campuses from coast to coast. The program provides lectures, labs, field work, cultural experiences, and recreation, offered to high school students, by professors, business professionals, practitioners and peers. For more information about the program and how to apply see Mrs. Swimm in guidance. SHAD is a life-changing experience, and looks great on a scholarship application.
