Math Contest – Attention and Grade 10 or 11 student interested in participating in a Waterloo math event. You need to see Mr. Richardson today at lunch in room 333. The deadline is today at the end of lunch.

Lions Quest Speak Out–Students are asked to pass in their resumes for the Lions Quest Speak Out (speech competition) to Mr. Hall today. If you need help developing your topic, or you want to practice your speech, drop by room 230 today at lunch. Remember your speech is 5 minutes long on a topic of your choice.

Are you looking for a spring or summer program to learn French? Do you want to discover another region of Canada and meet new people? Go Explore! Explore is a five-week intensive language-immersion program. You can take the program in the spring or summer, whichever you prefer. Participants in Explore receive a $2,200 bursary (taxable income) that covers tuition fees for the programs, instructional materials, meals and accommodations, workshops, and other mandatory activities. Discover another region of Canada while learning French. Enjoy five weeks of learning and adventure, friendship and discovery! Come to the library quiet room today at lunch to learn more.

Coop Education: Students interested in Co-op for next year should complete forms and submit to Mr. Rhymes by Tuesday.

Italy Trip March 2016 – Parent Meeting: There will be a mandatory parent & student meeting for the Italy Trip on Tuesday, February 23rd at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafetorium. Important details for the upcoming school trip will be discussed.

Grad Photos:  The deadline for Grad Photo submissions to Yearbook is March 1st.  There are no more opportunities to have them taken at the school, so you must contact a photographer or visit Walmart or the Superstore.  If you have had a grad photo taken at school, and even if you did not purchase a photo package, that photo will be sent to me directly.

Please be respectful of the March 1st deadline as to avoid disappointment.  Your photo will not appear in the yearbook if you do not submit a photo on or before March 1st.  Submissions to be sent to Ms. Payne at jpayne@hrsb.ns.ca

Grad Write Ups:  Pink forms for Grad Write Ups will be distributed AGAIN second semester.  DO NOT PANIC if you have not submitted a write up yet.  See Ms. Payne for forms and submissions.
