Model UN Team
: Congratulations to the Model United Nations Team that competed at the John Peters Humphrey Model United Nations in Fredericton on the Weekend. The Team received high praise for their professionalism and understanding of their country`s positions in their respective committee rooms. The team was made up of the following members: Logan Crooks, Saul Hughes, Isabelle Carvalho, James Lloyd–who won an Honourable Mention in the Security Council and Noah Hollis who won Top Delegate in the Security Council

Boys Box Lacrosse jerseys must be returned to Mr. Milligan by Tuesday.

Valedictorian Nomination forms are due by Thursday. Try-out speeches will take place on May 17th.

Field lacrosse athletes must see Ms. Joudrey today to get your forms. You cannot play if they are not signed & handed in today.

2016 CPA Girls Soccer information meeting in Room 227 at lunch on Wednesday. All girls interested in trying out for the girls’ soccer team next year are asked to attend.

Boys Softball – There are no games scheduled for this week. The tournament will be the following week. There will be a tryout on Tuesday after school at Range Field.

The Valedictorian Selection Committee is looking for volunteers to select potential Class of 2016 Valedictorians.  It requires that you stay after school until about 5:00 PM on Tuesday May 17 to judge the try-out speeches.   The committee needs seven potential graduates and five teachers.  If you are interested e-mail Mr. Milligan. Co-op Education: List of successful candidates for co-op 2016-17 is posted outside room 223 and on the library glass.

Interested in being a CPA Ambassador? – We are looking for students who would be interested in being an ambassador for our international students.  The primary role of the student ambassador is to help international students integrate into their school and community after they arrive in Nova Scotia. The ambassador works with administration and the international student staff liaison within their school to create a more internationalized and welcoming environment. Anyone interested please come and see Mrs. Swimm in guidance. You may have an opportunity to attend a training camp in the summer to prepare for the role.
